Public relations professionals play an important role in connecting organizations, stories and communities. This April, PRSA OKC invites members to step outside the office and into the community for a behind-the-scenes tour of The CARE Center in Oklahoma County.

The CARE Center provides critical services for children who have experienced abuse and neglect, working alongside law enforcement, child protective services and medical professionals to support children and families during difficult circumstances.

During this guided tour, attendees will learn more about the CARE Center’s mission, the services they provide and how professionals in our community can support their work.

This event takes place during Child Abuse Prevention Month and coincides with the CARE Center’s annual Paint the Town Blue campaign, which raises awareness and encourages community members to show support for child abuse prevention.

Members are encouraged to wear blue for the tour as we join the campaign and take a group photo in support of the month.
